Entertainment and adventure in Prague
The year-round bobsleigh track at Prosek, the first and only bobsleigh track in Prague, has prepared a range of attractions and new features for the 2008 season. Those interested in exciting experiences, for example, will be delighted by the opening of a rope-chute with rope obstacles, the longest rope-slide with the largest degree of incline in the Czech Republic.
A “beer paradise” – the 1st beerarium in the world – has opened at Chodovar
In April 2008 at the Chodovar family brewery in Chodová Planá, the restaurant Stará sladovna (The Old Malthouse) was opened in the building of the original malthouse. The beerarium, or beer paradise – reputedly the first in the world – introduces its guests to a world of beer technology and gastronomy. It combines original regional specialties and a rich selection of beers.
Hluboká Chateau will be open even in winter
For the first time in its history, the Hluboká nad Vltavou Chateau is providing a winter sightseeing tour. Visitors will be able to tour 9 rooms in Hluboká, whose history stretches back to the mid-13th century.
