A ranking of the world’s best and most affordable observation decks had three entries from the Czech Republic.

Three observation decks from the Czech Republic were included in a ranking of 70 of the world’s most popular and affordable observation decks compiled by the German online travel comparison and booking website Omio.
Ranked seventh out of 70, the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is also the oldest in the top 10, with constructions starting in 1295, and the only cathedral. Omio says its height stands at 338 feet (103 meters), and its entrance fee at $1.56, meaning that the price per foot to soak in the views from its top is $0.005.
While expressing joy that the monument was part of the ranking, Eva Barborková, spokeswoman for the Pilsen municipality, said that the numbers should be taken with a pinch of salt. The reason is that the actual entry fees are higher than the ranking said, at CZK 90 for adults, and CZK 60 for seniors or children. Nonetheless, the prices would still earn the tower a place among the top 25 most affordable sights on the list.
