The company is extending its flight plan to include a new regular link between Prague and Malmö. The airline will operate on the route from 28 March.
The southern metropolis of Malmö will then become the fifth Swedish destination of Czech Airlines. The airline now operates regular links between Prague and Stockholm, Göteborg, Linköping and Växjö. Year-round operations are planned for the Malmö destination and will begin on 28 March. Czech Airlines will run four flights from Prague each week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. ATR 72 aeroplanes with a capacity of 70 passengers will fly on this route, with the flight lasting about an hour and a half.
Sales of tickets on the new line have already begun. One-way ticket prices start at CZK 1,970, with a return ticket available from CZK 3,382, including airport fees.
In addition, CSA plans to increase the number of flights to Stockholm in the summer season, with daily connections. Czech Airlines will run as many as two flights a day to Göteborg this summer, one direct flight and one with a stop in Hamburg.
