Prague’s gastronomic scene is alive! Don’t miss the culinary experiences of new bistros and a traditional Czech restaurant.
Let’s Meat bistro
Newly opened bistro in Prague – Vinohrady focuses on burgers, steaks and ribs prepared over hot coals by chef Pavel Matseushuk. The bistro relies on ingredients from verified suppliers – they import veal from the Netherlands, beef from Ireland and brioches from a small local bakery. In addition to delicious food, the visitors will also be delighted by the retro interior.Slezská 107, Prague 3
Monarch Inn
The Prague’s gastrobar, which used to serve mostly Spanish tapas, has now become the Monarch Inn. Chef Jan Punčochář was involved in creating the concept of a restaurant specialising in Czech and Austro-Hungarian cuisine. He already helped several restaurants earn the famous BIB Gourmand award. In the menu, you will find roast pike-perch with spinach leaves and buckwheat salad or braised ribs with potato purée as well as profiteroles or blueberry griddle cakes among desserts.Na Perštýně 15, Prague 1
Roesel – beer and cake
Located just a couple metres away from the Charles Bridge, where two high school classmates furnished the ground floor of an old building and opened an interesting establishment. Visitors can enjoy some Clock beer from a microbrewery while a Czech-French duo of cooks take care of the food. One of the cooks prepares Czech appetisers such as homemade chicken liver pâté or cracklings spread. The other brings in some French gastronomic skill – she prepares pork rillettes, pâté de campagne, dried tomato spread and olive tapenade.Mostecká 20, Prague 1
