Prague Taps into Literary Tourism with Dan Brown-Inspired Campaign
Prague City Tourism is embracing literary tourism with a new campaign tied to Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets. Alongside themed guided walks, the city has launched a range of souvenirs—magnets, coins, bookmarks, and notebooks—designed around the novel.
The “Dan Brown’s Prague” walking tours, now available via the Prague Visitor Pass, explore mystical and lesser-known corners of the city featured in the book, including the Clementinum, Old-New Synagogue, and Old Jewish Cemetery. Future routes will include spots like Folimanka Park and the Crucifix Bastion.
City officials believe the novel will help position Prague as a UNESCO Creative City of Literature and attract culturally minded visitors.
