Czech Railways is once again offering its popular Summer Ticket, giving passengers unlimited travel across the Czech Republic during the holiday season. Travelers can choose between a seven-day or fourteen-day pass and enjoy exploring the country in comfort, sustainably, and at a great price. Ticket prices remain unchanged from last year—for instance, a week of unlimited travel costs just CZK 695 (approx. £24) for students and seniors. Tickets are already available for advance purchase.
This year’s advertising campaign for the Czech Railways Summer Ticket is built around the slogan “Create memories, not plans.” The concept was developed during the Creative Express competition, where teams of young creatives crafted campaign ideas while traveling by train from Prague to Bratislava.
The Summer Ticket is valid for unlimited travel on Czech Railways services from 1st July to 31st August 2025, allowing passengers to hop on and off trains anywhere in the country, with no limit on distance. The standard price is CZK 1,390 (approx. £46) for a 7-day ticket and CZK 1,990 (approx. £66) for a 14-day option. Holders of an In Karta with a customer application can benefit from discounted rates—CZK 1,190 (approx. £40) for a week or CZK 1,690 (approx. £56) for two weeks. Children, students, and seniors eligible for state discounts can enjoy even lower prices: CZK 695 (approx. £24) for 7 days and CZK 995 (approx. £33) for 14 days.

The Summer Ticket is valid for second-class travel on all Czech Railways trains. It can be purchased via the e-shop, at ČD ticket offices, or at selected ticket machines. For trains requiring reservations, only a seat reservation is needed in addition to the ticket. Passengers can choose between a 7-day or 14-day consecutive travel period.
