As usual, the most visited tourist destination in the Czech Republic is the Prague Castle, but the industrial monuments of Dolní Vítkovice also ranked among the most popular.
Prague Castle welcomed a total of 2.1 million visitors in 2016 and once again ranked 1st among the most visited monuments in the Czech Republic. The cable car line to Petřín ranked second (1.5 million visitors), Prague Zoo took third place with 1.4 million visitors, the area of Dolní Vítkovice ranked fourth with 1.3 million visitors and AquaPalace Praha concluded the TOP 5 with 1 million visitors.
