Skoda Museum Mlada Boleslav - Laurin & Klement Forum

Modern spaces with the scent of technology in a historic setting.

In addition to providing an insight into the origins and development of the Škoda Auto company, the Škoda Museum building also offers a wide range of conference spaces and halls for rent. They are suitable for hosting various events, concerts, meetings or exhibitions.

Due to the size of the Škoda Museum complex, it is possible to provide both spaces for organizing smaller events for corporate purposes, as well as a multifunctional hall capable of accommodating several hundred people. The main idea is to connect the historical elements of the building with advanced technology, creating unique spaces that are among the most modern in the Czech Republic.

#####Laurin & Klement Forum
The sophisticated 930 m2 multifunctional hall, designed for social, business and educational purposes, is the perfect venue for various events and special exhibitions organized by Škoda Auto and/or its partners or external organizations.

Thanks to cutting-edge solutions, such as a hydraulic multifunctional stage and auditorium, the Laurin & Klement Forum is one of the most modern multifunctional centers in the Czech Republic and the only center of its kind in Central Europe that is directly connected to the world of automotive history.

This unique hall, which is located in the middle of the Museum building, offers a great deal of flexibility in terms of organizing various internal events and events of external entities, including car presentations, press conferences, concerts, etc.

Laurin & Klement Forum is 37 meters long, 23.6 meters wide, 10.6 meters high and can also be used for special exhibitions – ingenious mobile elements give the space unique flexibility. The side walls (both glazed and fixed walls are available) separating the hall from the exhibition sections called Tradition and Precision form a sliding system that can be opened, transforming the entire Museum into one large hall creating a continuous whole, from the renovation workshop to the large glass wall that “opens” the entire Museum towards the street. This concept works both ways – exhibitions can become an active part of this multifunctional hall in whole or in part.

The basic architecture of these spaces is cleverly arranged, precise, based on clean basic shapes and smooth materials. The high-quality parquet floor helps to create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

The stage (9x7 m) is equipped with modern equipment and can be easily raised up to 100 cm. Thanks to special reinforcements, a load capacity of 5 tons/m² has been achieved. The biggest trump card is the integrated, electrically operated turntable, which allows for increased mobility at events of various kinds. The auditorium can accommodate 376 guests, with an additional 200 seats available in the gallery and in the annexes. The entire tribune can be folded and retracted under the floor (experts call this system a "telescopic auditorium"), creating a large (900 m²) open gathering or dance space that can be used for various occasions.

Other options and combinations of available modules (e.g. a large stand with a small stand opposite) are possible by prior arrangement. We also have 50 tables and 250 chairs available. Their arrangement depends solely on your needs. They can serve well for both the purpose of a press conference and a ball arrangement. If additional seating is needed, the gallery on the first floor around the perimeter of the hall can be used.
