30 km. 5 breweries. Think you can handle it?

The prettiest regions of the Krkonoše Mountains with excellent beer to go with them. These are the attractions of the tallest mountains in the Czechia. Five local breweries have joined forces and created the Krkonoše Beer Trail, which is an excellent team-building programme, not just for work colleagues.

The entire trail is about 30 km long, so it’s best to split it over two days to enjoy a relaxed tasting at each brewery. If you manage to sample at least one beer from each brewery, you can collect stamps in a special collector’s leaflet. At the end of the trail, five stamps will earn you a small reward.

Participating breweries include Horský Hotel Friesovy Boudy, Trautenberk Brewery, Pecký Brewery, Hendrych Brewery in Vrchlabí, and Pivovarská Bašta Vrchlabí. In addition to beer tastings, local Krkonoše specialties are also recommended—such as the traditional Krkonošské kyselo soup.
