This exceptional complex, located right next to Kinský Garden, was built between 1888 and 1891 in the Neo-Romanesque style as the first women’s Benedictine monastery of the Beuronese Congregation in Prague. The dominant feature of the entire complex is the Monastery of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary (often referred to as the Church of St. Gabriel), whose interiors are adorned with fascinating paintings of the Beuronese art school.
Today, the former monastery has been transformed into a unique cultural and artistic center known as Gabriel Loci. The site enchants visitors not only with its rich history but also with its breathtaking halls, artistic details, and a wide variety of spaces perfectly suited for hosting diverse events – from conferences, fashion shows, concerts, and theater performances, to weddings, corporate parties, and film shoots.
Gabriel Loci has become a sought-after destination where historical ambiance blends seamlessly with modern trends and technologies. It offers flexible facilities and tailored professional services that cater even to the most demanding clients. An ideal place for anyone seeking an extraordinary venue with soul.
