The rock quarry in the Central Bohemian town of Hříměždice will again become the location of the one and only extremely popular Czech cliff-diving event of the season. After fifteen years of the High Jump, this event has gained respect among world renowned divers and popularity among the spectators watching this adrenaline sport. As always, there will a number of categories to compete in. Competitors will compete on 12- and 16-metre high diving towers. The five-metre swing competition will also be very interesting. A huge draw will be the splash-diving battle. The competitor who is able to make the biggest splash wins. A belly flop from sixteen metres above the water requires a great deal of courage. The fifteenth annual Desperados High Jump will also offer an accompanying programme - trapeze, slack line and trampoline workshops - that everyone can take part in. An exhibition by acrobatic pilot Martin Šonek will be held for the first time this year. He is a regular participant in the worldwide Red Bull Air Race tour. Spectators can thus look forward to wild acrobatic plane stunts directly above their heads.
