From 18-21 May, Prague Microfestival will be staging its biggest ever cultural showcase in nine years of running at a spectacular new venue at Hybernska 4. Artists, musicians, and performers from all over the world will show their work. Founded as a literary event, the festival is so much more than simple readings: there will be a bookfair featuring some of Prague's independent publishers, a bar next to the books, a microshow pop-up art gallery, a sound installation, a microlab conference for experimental thinking, and more.
The festival will welcome highly regarded poets, including Molly Antopol, Michal Ajvaz, and Mary Caponegro, and  installations and collaborations from well-known contemporary artists such as Mark Divo, Paul Chaney, and Jaromír Typlt and Michal Rataj. It is fully bilingual and delivers all performances in both Czech and English, staging Czech authors and artists where they belong alongside the best of international contemporary arts and writing.

Microlab from 16h, performances from 19h; music from 22h. Food is served 16-22h. The bar is open throughout.
