NATO Days in Ostrava, held annually at Leoš Janáček Airport, is the largest security show in Europe open to the public. Together with the Czech Air Force Days, it forms a unique event where military, police, rescue, and security forces from the Czech Republic and its international partners come together to present their equipment, skills, and cooperation in action.

Examples of the most advanced techniques and equipment of our allied armies, police, paramedics, firefighters, demonstrating their art in attractive dynamic displays, talks, film screenings and workshops – all this awaits you at the Ostrava NATO Days. 

This biggest show of safety and security in Central Europe includes Czech Republic Air Force Days. An aerial acrobatics group will show off their art, and spectators will be introduced to police tactical units, special units of the Czech and Slovak prison service, the Castle Guards motorcycle squad and other elite units. Admission to the show is free.

  • Three elite aerobatic teams are confirmed:

    • Turkish Stars return after 12 years with NF‑5 Freedom Fighter jets

    • Wings of Storm (Croatia) will perform with six turboprop Pilatus PC‑9M aircraft

    • Red Arrows (Royal Air Force) bring their iconic Hawk T1 jet trainer display to Mošnov

  • Featured aircraft lineup includes:

    • Airbus A400M Atlas, Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafale, Mirage 2000‑5, NH‑90 and UH‑60 helicopters, Airbus A330MRTT tanker, Black Hawk, Dauphin and L‑410 turboprops—many in flying and static roles

  • Expect a robust ground programme with demonstrations by Czech Armed Forces, Integrated Rescue System units, police and customs services, highlighting capabilities with modern hardware and training routines
