The Christmas market in Cheb (Eger) traditionally features many vendor stalls offering a wide variety of goods. Of course, no market would be complete without traditional treats such as gingerbread, mulled wine or hot mead, cheese, sausages, and dishes like halušky, potato pancakes, soups, stuffed baguettes and croissants, hot waffles, sweet cream rolls and coconut treats, as well as salty pretzels and pretzel sticks. At the Christmas market, you can also buy Christmas trees, various toys, candles, decorations, and jewelry.
There will be an extensive cultural programme on stage, featuring concerts ranging from jazz to rock, as well as musical performances by students from various educational institutions.
In addition, both beginners and experienced skaters can enjoy themselves at an ice rink on the main square, which will remain open until the New Year.
