The speedway race at Prague's Markéta Stadium is very popular worldwide, attracting thousands of fans from abroad every year. Since its very beginnings the event has been considered to be one of the best organized motorbike competitions. In addition to the race, watched by millions of television viewers around the world, organizers prepare a wide range of accompanying events.

Prague Gears Up for a Historic Speedway Year in 2026

Year 2026 will be truly exceptional for Prague’s speedway fans. The city will host the 30th Grand Prix of the Czech Republic, making the Markéta Stadium the longest continuously running venue in the entire series. The celebrations begin already on 22 May with the Junior Team World Championship – FIM Speedway of Nations 2, bringing top young riders from around the world.

On 23 May, Prague welcomes the milestone 30th FIM Speedway Grand Prix, promising an unforgettable atmosphere. Organizers are already preparing enhanced visuals, special features, and upgraded fan experiences to mark this anniversary in style.
