The 2026 edition of Designblok will be framed by the theme Light — a symbol of knowledge, truth, hope, and life. Once again, the festival will guide visitors to exceptional locations across Prague, from the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery Prague, through the Museum of Decorative Arts, to Prague Castle and dozens of other venues throughout the city.
The programme will include a special day for professionals and the Designblok Talks conference (6 October 2026), curated exhibition projects, leading figures of international design, hundreds of new works by designers and brands, fashion shows, presentations by emerging talents, debates, creative workshops, and an extensive accompanying programme.

Every year, Designblok blends established excellence with fresh vision. Superstudio will highlight innovative companies and producers, while Openstudio and the Diploma Selection competition showcase young designers, schools and daring ideas for the future.
