Discover the flavours of traditional Czech fish farming at a restaurant awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand, located in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Třeboň.
The family-run Šupina and Šupinka restaurants are located close to Třeboň's historic centre and one of the largest fishponds in Czechia. Thanks to their focus on fresh freshwater fish and South Bohemian culinary traditions, they have become one of the region's best-known gastronomic destinations.

Freshwater fish are the stars of the menu, especially the famous Třeboň carp prepared in a variety of ways, alongside pikeperch, pike and catfish. Guests can choose from the à la carte menu – don't miss the carp fries – or enjoy a five-course tasting menu. There are also plenty of options for those who prefer dishes other than fish.

Šupina ("Fish Scale") and Šupinka ("Little Fish Scale") are two separate restaurants sharing the same menu. Choose between the larger Šupina with its outdoor terrace or the smaller, more intimate Šupinka.

In 2025, the restaurant was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand, recognising its outstanding value for money.

Accommodation is also available on site.
