From 2 to 5 March 2023, Nové Město na Moravě will be the venue of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2023 for the 7th time. It will take place in the Vysočina Arena. On Thursday and Friday, the sprint races are scheduled, on Saturday the pursuit races and on Sunday the mixed pairs relay will finish the programme.

The next stop of the World Cup in the Vysočina region will not be missed, for example, by Norwegian biathlete Johannes Thingnes Bø, Italians Lisa Vittozi and Dorothea Wierer, and French athletes Julia Simon and Quentin Fillon Maillet. For a long time, excellent results in Nové Město na Moravě have been achieved by biathletes from the north - Swedish Elvira Öberg, Norwegians Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, Strula Holm Laegreid and Swede Martin Ponsiluoma. Czech fans can look forward to Michal Krčmář or Markéta Davidová.

Even though the weather is not favoring snow activities yet, the Vysočina Arena is ready and the lack of snow will not jeopardize the sporting event in any way!
