The motto of the festival Janáček Brno is No limits!... and Czech music is limitless. During the three festival weeks, enjoy the unique genius loci of Brno – a multicultural city full of beautiful architecture, art, and gastronomy, where the masterpieces of Leoš Janáček, one of the musical geniuses of the twentieth century, were born.
The programme is dedicated to Czech composers, and wonderful performances of well-known works and real rarities given by Czech and foreign artists have been prepared for festival-goers, providing a simply wonderful résumé of what Czech music has offered us.
