World Ski Award 2025: SkiResort Černá Hora – Pec

Czech mountain resorts in the very heart of Europe are comfortable, safe, and attractive. Equipped with modern snowmaking systems, they ensure snow in the mountains even when temperatures are unfavourable. A major attraction is SkiResort Černá hora – Pec pod Sněžkou in the Krkonoše Mountains, which received the World Ski Award 2025 as the best Czech resort. Six interconnected areas allow skiing on 50 km of pistes and ski routes with one ski pass.

Besides skiing, you can newly set out on the 4 km Černá Hora Sledge Track, enjoy evening bobsleighing on the illuminated run in Pec pod Sněžkou or try snowtubing in Janské Lázně. A new feature is also the Panorama Park, which offers beautiful views and a place to rest in the middle of the mountains.

The season will open with the lighting of the Magic Ride on the bobsleigh run in Pec (20 December 2025), which will remain illuminated every evening throughout the winter. From the Christmas holidays, an animation programme for children takes place every Friday by the conveyor belt at Javor, so even the smallest visitors can enjoy the magical atmosphere.

The highlight of the winter season will be the spectacular Action Show on 6 February 2026, combining a light show, a dance of snow groomers, night demonstrations by instructors and the involvement of visitors. Among the resort’s attractions is also the traditional SkiTour – the ski crossing between Černá Hora and Pec.
