The Central Bohemian Gallery (GASK) presents an exhibition inspired by the internationally acclaimed Czech video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Like its award-winning predecessor, the game offers a realistic depiction of life in medieval Bohemia, standing out for its historical accuracy and compelling narrative.
The exhibition showcases a unique connection between the virtual in Kingdom Come: Deliverance and real Kutná Hora - a city that, in the 15th century, was one of the most important centers in the Czech lands and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its historical landmarks. These are captured in twelve large-format photographs, featuring, for example, the Church of St. Barbara, the Italian Court, the Sedlec Ossuary, and Malešov Fortress.
The exhibition is part of the Kingdom Come Live project.
The images contrast historical reality with its representation in the game world. The exhibition in GASK also includes original artifacts, 3D models, and interactive elements that bring medieval life and the game development process closer to visitors.
