Eurorando 2026 takes place in the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory / Erzgebirge), a region inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its unique mining landscape. The festival will unfold on both the Czech and German sides, with main centers in Boží Dar, Loučná pod Klínovcem, and Kurort Oberwiesenthal.

What to expect

  • 30 guided trails of different lengths and difficulty, crossing both sides of the border.

  • Many unguided walking routes on marked trails.

  • Every day features full-day guided hikes into the region’s nature and historical sites.

  • A rich cultural program with concerts, exhibitions, and regional markets.

  • The European Walking Day (26 September) and European Week of Sport will coincide with the festival, adding extra significance.

  • Entry fee is set at €10, which includes a map, printed guide, and a wooden commemorative plaque usable for discounts during the event.

Eurorando is more than just a hiking festival — it’s a meeting point for nature lovers, culture seekers, and European solidarity. It returns to Czechia after five years and for the first time is held across two countries simultaneously. Organizers expect up to 5,000 hikers from across Europe.
