Celebrate St Wenceslas, the patron saint of the Czech lands and Czech beer, at historic Svijany Castle. The festivities open with the arrival of St Wenceslas on horseback and continue with the tapping of a limited-edition DUX beer, beer-tapping lessons and competitions.
A traditional craft market, period music, sword-fighting and jester performances add to the medieval atmosphere, while visitors can also enjoy a beer-themed fashion show, historic carriage rides and other activities for the whole family. There is also a chance to tour the nearby Svijany Brewery.
