Discover the chateau garden, a place of calm and elegance, which ranks among the oldest architectural gardens in the Czech Republic. How you spend your time here is up to you – whether you want to yield to the calling of the past and travel back to the times of Renaissance cavaliers, or just pay a visit to the local gallery.
The chateau garden was created as early as in the 1570s on the site of a former arena where the lord of the castle and his noble guests spent time in knightly tournaments and  fencing matches. From two sides the garden is skirted by arcades –you can easily imagine the dignified heads of the rulers in the niches. If it is the large relief on the old palace wall that caught your attention, then you are looking at Neptune, the god of the sea, commanding his four-horse chariot. From the garden you can enter the chateau gallery.
