Prague - among dinosaurs and ghosts

The Bohemian Paradise

Here you will find not only amazing rock formations but also castles and trails, along with the Happy Land (Šťastná země) complex in Radvánovice. Take a starting point in the region in the town Jicin, often called the gateway to the Bohemian Paradise - also known as the Fairy Tale town. The town of Jicin has got its undoubted magical feel, thanks to the Czech author Václav Ctvrtek and his character robber Rumcajs. Every year in September, the festival "Jicin – The Town of Fairy Tale" is held and offers a wide range of activities to its visitors, especially children. The city is very child friendly with a museum with interactive exhibits. Nearby you will find the national park Prachovske Skaly, which offers child-friendly walks through beautiful scenery and with a landscape of spectacular rock formations. In Hradec Králové you can get acquainted with tropical freshwater fishes and exotic tropical nature. In the Giant freshwater aquarium, over 40 species of tropical fishes from South America reside in and float in a tunnel above the heads of visitors.

Into the Wild West with Cowboys and Indians

Fans of western movies will love the town of Šiklův Mlýn, located in the middle of the woods of the highlands of Bohemia-Moravia. Visitors will find wild horses, brave heroes, cowboys, Indians, villains and bandits. The Wild West city is a true replica of similar cities in the American West that spreads through a picturesque valley close to the Bobrůvka River in Zvole nad Pernštejnem. You can easily reach Prague via the D1 motorway in direction of Brno. Šiklův Mlýn is the largest outdoor entertainment area in the Czech Republic.
