Travelling around Czechia in a motorhome or caravan is a great way to discover our beautiful countryside, historical towns and interesting sights while keeping things as free and flexible as possible. This type of holiday is becoming more and more popular every year and the facilities available of places that let motorhomes stay overnight are constantly improving. We present some of the best locations for caravans and motorhomes across the country!

West Bohemia: Spas, beer and châteaux

Visit Camper park Purkmistr in Plzeň. This caravan and motorhome park offers excellent access to the city centre, as well as the unique chance to enjoy a beer spa and a tour of the world-famous Pilsner Urquell brewery. Discover the beautiful historical centre of Plzeň and enjoy the atmosphere of the local pubs.

South Bohemia: Hiking and biking around Šumava

Stellplatz Tetín near Beroun offers great facilities and is an excellent starting point for exploring the beautiful sights of Central Bohemia. You can visit the nearby historical town of Beroun, the majestic mediaeval Karlštejn Castle or the mysterious Koněprus Caves. Near the there is also a cycle path that runs along the Berounka River. Another interesting spot is the Zelčín stellplatz near Mělník. With lots of different species of animals, the Zelčín Zoo Park is perfect for children. There is also a small campsite in the park.

East Bohemia: A land of mountains and adrenaline

Stellplatz Velehrad Vineyards in the east of South Moravia offers excellent facilities for caravans in a beautiful setting. You can visit the Velehrad pilgrimage site or the Modrá Archaeological Open-air Museum.

And what about northern Moravia? Try Landek Park in Ostrava! It's the ideal place to discover the industrial history of the region. Venture underground at the mining museum, explore the Lower Vítkovice complex and discover the contemporary face of Ostrava.
