Václav Havel Airport Prague has secured top honours at the Routes Europe Awards 2026, further reinforcing Prague’s position as a fast-growing aviation hub. The airport won the category for airports handling between five and 20 million passengers a year, and was also named Overall Winner in recognition of its strong performance in route development and airline partnerships.
Summer 2026 Network Expansion at Václav Havel Airport Prague
Václav Havel Airport Prague, the largest international airport in Czechia, continues to expand its route network with a series of new destinations and additional carriers.
For the 2026 summer season, the airport is strengthening connectivity through a mix of new routes, increased frequencies and additional holiday services. Newly launched connections include direct flights to Philadelphia with American Airlines, Bordeaux with easyJet and Cork with Aer Lingus. Wizz Air is also adding new services to Iași, Skopje and Timișoara.
