Its alum base provides the water with special, particularly dermatological, qualities, and the lake has been dubbed a natural beauty salon. If you don’t feel like swimming, you can take your children to the zoo in Chomutov or to the adjacent Stará Ves (Old Settlement) outdoor museum of folk architecture – the centre of regional folk art.
