The Ridge Trail Through Bohemian Switzerland is a 100-kilometre long-distance hiking route that leads you through dramatic sandstone formations, quiet forests and sweeping viewpoints — from the foothills of the Ore Mountains to the first ridges of the Lusatian Mountains. The trail is divided into six easy-to-plan stages, perfect for one continuous trek or several shorter trips.
The route connects famous landmarks with hidden corners — picturesque villages, national park landscapes, historic footpaths, panoramic rock towns and deep river gorges. Its highest point reaches Mount Jedlová (774 m), while the lowest sections drop to just 115 m above sea level, offering an ever-changing mosaic of sceneries along the way. Each stage is easily accessible by public transport, with accommodation and dining options available in towns along the route, making this trail ideal even for car-free travellers.
The entire ridge trail is divided into six stages, ranging in length from 11 to more than 20 km, so you can plan it according to your abilities – either as a multi-day trip or walk it in sections.
