Street Art in a Secession Palace: Pasta Oner Unveils Ermitage

Pasta Oner, one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary Czech visual art, presents his solo exhibition Ermitage until 31 December 2025 in the grand secession-era spaces of the Municipal House in Prague. His most extensive exhibition to date transforms the symbolic concept of a “hermitage” into a contemporary artistic sanctuary. In a striking dialogue between street-inspired aesthetics and historic architecture, Ermitage invites viewers into a bold, visually charged world where modern iconography meets timeless grandeur.

David Lynch at DOX

DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague has prepared something extraordinary. Until 8 February 2026 you can visit the exhibition David Lynch: Up in Flames. The show features more than 400 works, many on public display for the very first time. Known for his cinematic vision, admiration for writers like Franz Kafka, and experiments with music in Prague, Lynch demonstrates through this exhibition the extraordinary range of his artistic talent.

Martin Janecky: Dreamer at KodlContemporary 

The exhibition Dreamer presents a stunning series of glass sculptures by renowned Czech artist Martin Janecký. Using the rare technique of inside‑bubble sculpting, Janecký explores portraiture, the human psyche, and the power of imagination, creating works that are both delicate and deeply expressive. The exhibition runs until 11 January 2026 at KodlContemporary in Prague, closed to the newly reimagined five-star Fairmont Golden Prague. A commented tour will be held on 16 December, 2025, starting at 4 PM.

When It's Advent, It's Like Crystal

Prague´s Botanical Garden has blossomed during the cold months thanks to glass artist Jiří Pačinek and his fascinating installation Cristal Garden. Until February 15, 2026, you can marvel at this exhibition  featuring extraordinary plants and animals made of glass. The exhibition is also accessible during evening tours.

The Lamplighter on Charles Bridge

Each year, the Advent atmosphere in Prague's historic centre is enhanced by the “Old Prague” lamplighter. It is a person that lights the gas lamps using a long pole. You can see the old Prague lamp lighter in a historical uniform during the Advent manually lighting 46 gas lamps along the Charles Bridge and at the Křížovnické Square. He starts in the Old Town around 4 p.m. until 23 December, so do not miss him!
